Distilleria Pagura - Grappa Merlot Bio Anfora. Grape variety - selected organic Merlot grape pomace from the western part of Friuli, a region renowned for its high-quality winemaking. The grappa is distilled using the traditional batch method in a bain-marie distiller, thus preserving the purest grape aromas. The grappa is then aged for 12 months in amphorae, the oldest known ageing method, which allows a natural micro-oxygenation process to take place, making the drink so pure. The grappa is unfiltered, with no added sugar, preserving its organoleptic properties. Grappa embodies a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, a sustainable approach to distillation. The soft Merlot grape variety, aged in amphorae in a unique way, gives the drink minerality and exceptional elegance. To fully appreciate the complex aromas of grappa, it is recommended to serve it at 16-18°C. Perfect for meditation, it goes well with dark chocolate, dried fruit, and aged cheeses.
