An elixir produced in the family pharmacy, based on orange blossoms and citrus fruits: sweet orange (Citrus sinensis L. var. Dulcis), bitter orange (Citrus aurantium L. ssp. Amara) and lemon (Citrus limon). The recipes used today to make the drinks were created back in 1948 in Uggiano la Chiesa, a town of about 4,000 inhabitants in the province of Lecce. They were created by the town's renowned pharmacist Antonio Camboa, better known to everyone as Uccio. Now, in the same pharmacy, his son Vanni and grandchildren Carola and Alessandro continue the tradition, using the same old recipes to create unique and timeless products.
