Red wine Primitivo Coppi Senatore Gioia del Colle DOC. Grape variety – 100% Primitivo. This wine is dedicated to Senator Michele Coppi, the insightful founder and winemaker of Coppi Winery, who loved and knew the Murgia dei Trulli area of Bari very well. Aged for 12 months in 50 hl Slavonian oak barrels. Dark red in color with purple reflections. The bouquet is strong and persistent, with slightly spicy aromas. The taste is dry, smooth, warming, with pronounced tannins. Can be stored in the cellar for about 15 years. Alc. 13.5%, 750ml.

Named the best Primitivo wine at the 2017 Vinitaly exhibition.

In 2018, it was ranked as the third best red wine in Italy in Luca Maroni's guide "Annuario dei migliori vini italiani" (Yearbook of the Best Italian Wines), 96/100.

The 2017 vintage received another award: the prestigious "Five Grapes" from the renowned Bibenda 2021 guide.
